The King is back! Following its success in 2015, our Rìgh Seumas I (pronounced ray shay-muss) returns for a second batch. ‘Rìgh Seumas’ translates as ‘King James’, named in honour of the master blender, Jim McEwan. Building on Jim’s blend, our Whisky Creations Team has introduced a young, boisterous, peaty Islay malt. At the heart of this powerful blend is the spirit of Bruichladdich, along with mature malts from Arran, Tobermory, Auchentoshan and Rhosdhu, all matured in a French red wine barrique. Into this luxurious blend, we added a youthful Caol Ila, continuing the Murray McDavid legacy of balancing spirit and oak.
